The hotel is situated at 6 min walking distance from the east-side Zhangjiajie park entrance and therefore very convenient. They came to fetch me at the airport for free (about 40km from Dayong airport to Wulingyuan). As a European traveler, first time in China, I appreciated the kind reception staff, but had difficulty to find a person with knowledge in English. For breakfast, which was included in the price, you must be ready to adapt to chinese taste: take watermelon instead of orange juice, drink tea or milk, take a nice noodle soup instead of cornflakes, then some toast with eggs and bacon, and if you are still hungry there is much more on the buffet table. I had booked an Executive single room and had a very large room with a kingsized bed. There was no change of sheets in 5 days but as the bed was so big I could sleep on different parts each night. Overall I rate the hotel about 4-star in European standards. |
