I checked into the hotel four the fourth time in four weeks. At first, I was pleased with the hotel as I was willing to compromise a little on quality as they had a decent room (although many stains) and the price was more than reasonable with a decent location. It got worse over my next few stays, but now I am appalled . Here are a few examples of what I put up with. I drove up to the hotel and they told me no parking spots, so i parked in the hotel next door. Then i see a chinese guy pull up and they tell him the same, but after he tells them he lives there, they let him in. So I try the same the next night and they still don't let me in, after a few minutes of arguing and telling them that I will check out if I can not find a place to park my car, they let me into the parking lot. I see a spot and try to park there and they tell me I can not park there. Another chinese pulls into the lot and immediately is allowed to park where i was not. Keeping in mind I lived here three weeks in a row (monday to Friday). I immediately complained to the front desk, keeping in mind that nobody could understand english, I had to do this in chinese. They told somebody to check with the security guard. Then, i walk out to dinner and tell the security guard myself how pissed off I was and asked if the other car lived at the hotel, he promptly told me they did live here. I told him i highly doubted it as I lived here quite often and never saw them. After coming back two hours later, the car was gone and not there the following morning. I told the front desk I was going to be checking out in the morning as they obviously do not want foreigners here. I then went to check out, when you check out there is no line, you basically push past people who are smoking and throw your card at the clerk. 10 chinese people who came after me left before I did even though i explained i was in a rush. They do not like foreigners here, do not stay here unless you are chinese |
