Fortune Tang is a serviceable business hotel for Yingkou. While you are certainly not going to the business style of international business hotels in a smaller city like this the Fortune Tang is a decent and serviceable option. The staff speaks very little to no English so it is best that you have a Chinese-speaker with you if anything is needed. Beds are pretty comfortable for a Chinese hotel beds. The major downfall for this hotel is the internet. Wired internet speed here is SLOW. Frustratingly slow. I was unable to get any work done in the evenings which in my opinion knocks this hotel down a lot from where I could rate it. When I went to speak to the staff about this problem they stated that there was nothing they could do and that the internet in Yingkou is slow everywhere. While from the staff perspective this fact might be true my business location during the day had quite fast internet (for China). Increased reliability and speed of the internet would do a great deal for the hotel's value. As of now it is appropriately a one-hundred fifty to at most a two-hundred kuai a night hotel. |
