Yangshuo Regency Holiday Hotel

This was my 3rd time to stay at this hotel. The location is perfect in my opinion because it is at the end of West Street (Xi Jie) and close to the bus station. Previously I always enjoyed their better than average breakfasts. However, this was the first time I visited during winter. The hotel was almost empty, so breakfast was no longer buffet style. Another small bad thing about coming to this hotel in wintertime is that the heat only comes on at 7 pm and stays on until early morning. Therefore daytime in the room required wearing a coat.

The room had a wonderful view, but the smell of mildew was kind of strong coming from the bathroom. The bed is giant and comfortable. I noticed that there are now several new affordable hotels in the vicinity that are in better condition.

Good clean place, facilities older. No internet in the room, also not working in the lobby. No lift. Room was towards the main tourist street, it was not possible to sleep before midnight. Breakfast was ok.

I have to say that this hotel is great value for money. We stayed in a standard room but I think that if we go again and stay for longer, which we would do, we would upgrade to a panoramic room as the views are stunning. The rooms are large, clean and the bathrooms good. Ours had the shower over the bath but it had good pressure and was very hot unlike a lot of places in China. The beds were a little hard but again thats typical of China and they had extra duvets that you could put under you if needed.

As a foriegner I found the staff very friendly, they spoke enough english and the location is one of the best in Yangshuo. It is right on the corner of "West Street" which has lots of western cafes and bars so if you need a bit of a "fix" go and chill out. No matter how much you love China sometimes its just nice to have a bit of home around you and this can be found in Yangshou but mixed nicely with the Chinese too.

The only criticism I have is that the hotel doesnt have a lift and we were on the 3rd floor with an 83 year old mother. It wouldve been better for her to have a lift. Having said that we managed and the staff carried the bags up to the room for us.

The hotel is conveniently located on Xi Street near some great restaurants and bars. The staff in the tour department were very friendly when helping book our tours and bus tickets.

I checked in the sightseeing queen room with French window. The outside scenery is really fabulous, but the Internet charge 10 yuan a day.

酒店环境好，就在西街口子上，离汽车站和江边都不远。服务尚可，还有旅游服务配套。餐厅差，早餐一般，点菜要什麼没什么。

酒店位于西街口，去哪里都方便，晚上坐车去刘三姐，上下车点就在酒店门口~自助早餐还算满意。但是没有我上年入住时候丰富~房间比较陈旧，上年去睡的床垫已经很旧的，今年还没有更换~我住的是带阳台的观景房，早上起床，泡杯热茶，坐在阳台上，对着山景，看着人来人往的西街，太写意了，更是我再次选择这家酒店的主因！希望年底再去的时候，酒店的床垫已经换上新的，自助早餐也更加丰富！
