Grand New World Hotel

A little disappointing on my 2 nights stay here, the hotel was quite plain and didn't stand out too much. The complimentary buffet breakfast was the highlight of the hotel. The rooms were a little too small and the A/C smelled strange. The beds were comfortable and clean but sheets weren't changed daily.

It's a good hotel for the budget traveler.

We stayed at the Grand New World Hotel Oct. 2-5, 2009. Our room was an Executive room on the 15th floor, The room was great and our room rate included breakfast. The Western breakfast is very good. The staff really tried hard to serve us. We booked a tour through the hotel to the Terra Cotta Soldiers and a few other sites. The tour is a good value for the price. The hotel location is good but you will have to walk a little further to get to the Bell Tower and some other sites (shopping, etc.) near it. We took the shuttle bus to the hotel from the airport to the Bell Tower and then took a taxi to the hotel. Be careful about what a taxi wants to charge you for the trip to the hotel from the Bell Tower area. The taxi wanted 40 RMB but we offered and he took 30 RMP. Later we took a taxi a furter distance and only paid 12 RMB. We also had the hotel arrange a taxi for us to get to the airport and the cost was 150 RMB plus 10 RMB for the tolls. They use the black taxi cabs and if you take one of the green and gold taxis you will probable get a better price on your own. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Great value for money. We paid around 350RMB per night and 50RMB for breakfast per person. Breakfast was good and absolutely suitable for foreign taste. Hotel was full of foreign tourists. Swimming pool was good, tennis court closed. Located about 10min drive from Bell Tower. Stuff was extremely friendly and trying hard to meet all your expectations. Solid 4 star Chinese hotel with a strong orientation for foreign taste.

地理位置优越！靠近西大街！停车方便！就是旅游团比较多！

房间隔音差，关门声很重，服务员大声聊天，很是影响休息。门口坐公交车方便，白天基本就别想叫到出租车。去机场一定要提前订车。

是一家物超所值的四星级酒店，各方面都很棒，并且出门旁边就是西安特色小吃一条街，下次去还住这家酒店。

酒店干净卫生，设施齐全冰箱、保险柜、浴缸，服务也比较到位，在西安市中心，在哪去玩都比较方便，去回民一条街出租车都不跳表，反正挺满意的，以后有机会再住

具体看前面的评价，那里面感受很客观了，加一条就是酒店周边吃饭不是很方便。店里面的早餐50一人，品种还算丰富。
