Wuxi 1881 Peninsula Hotel

It's near the wonderful Tai Lake and the service was really great.
The only complaint was poor soundproofing and limited choice of on-site restaurant.
I would choose to stay here again next time.

I was awed not only by the fantastic view from my room but the considerate service this hotel offered as well.

I stayed with my daughter. Soon after we checked in, a hotel staff sent us a pair of kid's slippers. I am quite sure the quality of slippers were very fine cuz I am good at textile.

I'm writing this only to say that the hotel did care about their customers.

The whole environment was peaceful and quiet, very suitable for casual travelers.

We ordered pool-view room, it was quite small. Breakfast was lack varieties. But decor and environment were wonderful. Views from the room was splendid and we all enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Overall, it was not 6-star, a decent medium hotel at most i think.

Before we came to Wuxi, i searched lot online to select a proper hotel. In the end, we picked 1881 Peninsula.

We were impressed by the wonderful views around and the splendid furnishing of the hotel. Not the ordinary luxurious sense, but unique traditional South China feature.

The staff were nice and friendly and customer-orientialed, which made we quite satisfied. Besides, personly speaking, i love the restaurant most. Enjoying the delicous dishes in the beautiful setting, while enjoy the astonishing lake view! The only concern was that the price was a little high.

Overall, it was a nice experience staying here.

就餐环境好，环境优美，适合旅游度假。二楼有阳台的房间很好，很多客户都非常喜欢，赞！

选择无锡1881半岛酒店，完全是因为这家酒店的价格高，没想到如此的坑人。图片做的很漂亮，内部设施简直让人无语。酒店前台自挂6星，不知道携程的工作人员有没有去过这家酒店，内部2-3星标准的设施，居然排在携程的前排，让我无法理解。晚上灯罩掉了下来，也无人处理。酒店的王丹丹经理人很热情，我投诉之后有派车将我送走。她也很理解酒店现状，无可奈何

酒店设计古色古香，但硬件与软件上都与半岛的名气有差距。不过，餐厅的晚餐不错。服务员态度很好。早上沿着湖边慢慢走去蠡园，空气新鲜。

卫生、环境都不错，旁边就是太湖，就是房间有点小。吃的食物太贵了。服务员的太度非常好，给人暖暖的！

主要是半岛的名字让我决定定这家酒店，但是到了让我比较失望。软件和硬件都不能和半岛这个品牌画上等号。只能称之为客栈
