Howard Johnson Hotel Wuhan

Hotel was along the river so the view from the room was nice. Room was very clean but the changing clothe at pool was not as clean as I expected since this hotel is rated as 4 star. The bar on the top of the hotel was pretty disappointed. View from the bar was not bad but the facilities were not well organized.

Excellent river view! The room services are also acceptable. Easy for parking!

I checked in on Jan 28th morning when it was the peak time for checkouts. There was just one receptionist dealing with the checkouts and no one responsible for my check-in. I waited for 15 minutes without any service and even greeting which was so disappointed. Then a waiter came to me and took me for check-in. He was polite and helpful and I was told that there is a special reception desk for online reservation guests to check in.

I reserved two river-view queen rooms and adjusted to two twin rooms. But we missed the river view. I got the information from when I made the reservation online that the TV sets are LCD, but actually not. Anyway other room amenities were pretty nice. A little disappointed!

Pro's
1.At the back door of the hotel, there are many restaurants.
2.Late checkout till 2 p.m. is available.
Con's
1.The window cannot be opened. There is a venthole, but it is blocked up by
dust.
2. Air-conditioning in the room is very noisy.
3. As to the free Internet access, you can surf on the Chinese website conveniently, but for Foreign website, it is dog-slow.

Ideal location but quiet! I like the decoration and the design very mucn!

I stayed in Howard Johnson Hotel Wuhan from Nov.9 to Nov.11. It left me a great impression. Just opposite a park, this hotel enjoys a prime location and I got a free upgrade to a queen suite. The room was not quite spacious but it fitted me well. So was the comfy bed. The only complaint is the stuffy room.
Service is attentive and quick and there are a variety of choices for breakfast.

选这家酒店一定要选江景房。窗外是长江，武汉二桥，江滩公园。江滩公园中正对酒店的是毛主席纪念碑，上有水调歌头的诗词。晚上华灯初上，风景相当不错。唯一遗憾的是酒店房间不是落地窗，但若是的话，估计也不是这个价钱了。

大堂满足五星标准，房间最多四星，我定的江景房觉得就和上海四星的酒店一样，早餐挺丰富的符合5星标准，出门打车都很方便。

该酒店位于武汉市政府边上，靠着码头，酒店环境和硬件还都不错的，早饭也还丰盛，可以下次前来再次入住的。
