That's absolutely not the HOWARD JOHNSON I know. When I think back, the 36 hours that I've stayed in this hotel can only be called a nightmare.
1. I booked with Ctrip for two nights in this hotel and got a confirmation from Ctrip, but when we checked in, the reception told me that we only booked 1 night. The next day Ctrip called me and told us that the hotel had made a mistake, but nobody ever apologized to us.
2.When we entered the room, I found that one leg of the crib I requested for my girl was broken! Because it's too late, I didn't call the reception and found something hard to level it up.
3. The sofa was also broken. I called the reception for an extra quilt, but they told me there were no extra quilt left. I couldn't believe it! they finally sent one to my room after one hour because of my insistance.
4. the room we booked is a so-called lake-view room, but outside our window, I could only see a large building site. I tried from different angles and only a small corner of Jinji Lake can be faintly seen.
5. My daughter had a favourite hankerchief and she got used to sleeping with the hankerchief above his pillow, but the housekeeping was so careless that she took it away with the bedsheet. My daughter refused to sleep without it. I called the reception but they said it's impossible that the housekeeping had taken it away. I got angry and went to see the duty manager. He promised to make the whole thing clear. The next morning, they found the hankerchief and sent to my room.
Overall, this experience is really disappointing and spoils my impression of the Howard Johnson name permanently.
