Starway Premier Suzhou Garden View Hotel

Staying in the hotel is a pleasure by its own. The hotel is designed as a traditional Chinese garden which you ought to see in Suzhou, so you have your own in-house Chinese garden in the hotel, so to say. Elegant and classy at the least, they even have a woman musician playing ancient Chinese musical instrument in the garden at night. But the room rate remains competitive among so called 'business hotels', although I think it is a bit on the higher side of the scale. Rooms are furnished with traditional 'Ming' style furniture, again a good experience. The hotel is well kept in and out, in rooms and in public area. Front desk is typically helpful. In front of it is a busy street with all the public bus routes running. Only 2 bus stations to 'Humble Adminstrator's Garden'. The only thing is, it is not easy to have a taxi at the hotel. Internet by wire, no wifi. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself already has Suzhou culture within the garden which is exclusively feasible for your cameras.
Other than that, within 5 minutes , you could indulge yourself in an array of shops which is popular among hardcore shoppers. If you are looking for a getaway in Suzhou within an extremely tight schedule, this hotel is definitely recommended!

Room good size, location is close to everything. Lots of hot water. Excellent breakfast (for China) Staff not helpful in getting taxis or giving directions. Very poor English.

Charming hotel with traditional architecture neat. The rooms could use a refresh, however, (tapestries, curtains) and the bathrooms are narrow but overall you can count on a very pleasant stay. the staff is absolutely charming and perfect location

Perfect location, good looking hotel, ok rooms but not the best service. The booking promised a little gift which which we never got and the breakfast was very Chinese.

The hotel is convenient to many tourist attractions. The major highlight is its Suzhou garden style decor.

The courtyard style hotel is the miniature of Suzhou garden. I checked in a Queen room with Internet access. The door leads to the back garden. I would not mind coming back later.

i always go to this hotel in Suzhou because of the position in the downtown, the beauty of the garden and the rooms.
easy to go everywhere by wolking, very near the humble administrator garden and the temple in the downtown...
during the night often u will find a lady playng a traditional chinese instrument and creating a very special atmosphere...
prices are very good.

就在观前街边上，出入很方便，火车站过去有公交直达。房间较小，后面打开窗有个停车场，有车出入的时候会有点吵。宾馆内部的庭院设计很有苏州风格，这点不错！
