Holiday Inn Shenyang Zhongshan

This hotel is located right next to Zhongshan square (location of giant Mao statue). Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby (American chains around the corner are Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and KFC). Ok location for tourist attractions--neither close nor far.

Breakfast is good. Rooms are fine, though a little dated and dark. It looked like bathrooms have been updated somewhat recently but not the rest of the room. Reasonably clean. Beds are ok--not too hard by China standards. Staff I interacted with spoke English and seemed attentive to customer needs. A sign said guests have access to pool facilities at Crowne Plaza around the corner but we did not try this. Non-smoking rooms and baby cribs available; high chairs available at breakfast.

这个酒店我以前没有住过，但是我这次出差陪同的外宾点名要去这里住，他说他上次住的时候感觉很好，所以他还要住这里，当然我希望价格能更便宜些，这样我不陪同外宾我也可以住这里，酒店干净，前台女孩热心，服务热情，因为这次去的外宾有一个先到了，但是说的是俄语，大家都听不懂，是前台的女孩几次和我沟通，最后才让这位外宾顺利的入住，而且酒店的早餐和我胃口，因为就就是北方人。呵呵呵

酒店有些旧, 地理位置在市中心, 购物,乘车都挺方便的.
早餐很好吃, 可能我是东北的有关系, 还有小笨鸡炖蘑菇,
量也够多, 到底是东北的酒店, 不小气.

bit old hotel, but service very nice, only need to improve the service in the resturtant (breakfast), the waitress not very nice.

一直比较喜欢Holidayinn，因为他们的管理都是标准化的，让人觉得很舒服。这家酒店的早餐也不错。不过设备设施有点老了，看看啥时候重新装修阿，但不能涨价！

假日一直是标准4星酒店，个人本次入住有2点小介意：
1、感觉在携程定的房间，酒店给安排的房间要么就是电梯边要么就是下面有酒吧吵闹。这次给了间1279号，顶头一间，其他都好，就是马桶不舒服，坐便时卫生间房门膈应着左腿，闹心
2、为何酒店早餐一定要定双早呢？单早双早都是118元，我一个人住，加个单早59元就好了，这样不是很好嘛，符合假日自己的绿色倡导。

重着假日酒店的名声定的这家酒店，这个酒店很冷清，基本上没看到几个人，房间倒是挺大的，但是卫生一般般，尤其是卫生间。酒店的地理位置非常不错，离太原街也就几分钟的步行。总的来说不好不坏吧。

选择住假日酒店的主要原因一是地点方便,二是床和枕头比较适合我,感觉比较舒适,不过没有游泳池还是一大硬伤
