Eastern Pearl Hotel

The staff was english speaking and they were very helpful with me. The room was big and clean, furnitures good and bathroom perfect. I suggest you to go there!!!

We stayed 3 days in the hotel, spent CNY1542 total. The company that offered a 1-day tour package proposed by the hotel was not well organised. No pick-up at the hotel lobby as promised, instead we had to make our own way to meet the tour guide at the first tour site and we waited for almost an hour. At the end of the tour, we were told that they might not be able to send us back to hotel due to tight schedule, finally was arranged with another vehicle to drop us at the hotel.

The hotel is a bit far from subway but in the city center. They were very efficient to get me a train ticket. You have everything you need in the room and it was very clean compare to other hotels i went to in cities around. The breakfast buffet was cheap, with a lot of choice and delicious.

Rooms in this hotel are very clean and nice, cleaning staff are great, other staff are okay. I had some troubles in checking out when they wanted to charge me 36 RMB for their tasteless breakfast which was supposed to be included in my booking--one day I went to the breakfast room without my little "breakfast coupon" which the hotel staff have to deliver to you daily (I don't know why they don't just give them all to you when you check in), and the dining hall staff did not tell me that i would be charged for signing their little slip of paper, and that I ought to go one floor down to the front desk to get my coupon first. This was not a language issue: I speak fluent Chinese. They just couldn't take the time to explain it to me. The location of this hotel is perfect if you are doing research at the Nanjing Library, as I was (two blocks away); if your aim is elsewhere check Google maps. One very important comment: Do *not* come here for the fitness center! It is a tiny, stinky, dingy room with hardly any equipment, most of which is old. Also, many of the other guests are painfully loud both late at night and early in the morning, and you can also hear traffic noise as another reviewer pointed out. If you're looking for a basic hotel, though, with a nice room that doesn't stink of cigarette smoke (though since this is a business hotel *all* rooms have an ashtray in them), Eastern Pearl won't disappoint.

THe hotel staff is not very friendly.
The room are really noisy, you can hear the street since early in the morning.

THe room decor is decent, bed is comfortable and quiet clean.

Overall, I don't think i will come back to this hotel.

Metro station was just steps away.
The deluxe business room was well equipped with free broadband internet access. TV channels were limited. Check-in and check-out were unbearably slow.

My room was clean, comfortable and well-priced, but the service was not as good as the room. Hotel staff asked us to hail a cab ourselves.

A value for the price. My room is on the 8th floor, furnished with a computer. The rooom lighting and the facilities are wonderful, quite new. Well, it seems difficult to find a taxi here.

Convenient transportation, close to the subway. Room is comfortable. I'll choose it again.

这次是看了前面多位客人前往该酒店住宿后的评价才决定去入住的，应该说满怀希望前往的，但入住后，整个酒店给我感觉：体会不到一个四星级酒店应有的服务质量，房间灰暗、写字台旁无用电插座，淋浴洗头还是使用一般商务酒店的淋浴用品，无温馨感，性价比太差。在与总台人员交涉我入住酒店后，其有关部门存在服务过错时，包括前厅经理在内，对我的投诉不闻不问，态度甚是傲慢，十分气愤。
