Upon check-in, I was upgraded to executive suite, which was a very large suite, with separate living area and half kitchen. Staff was courteous and spoke adequate english. Hotel was very quiet and an oasis from the busy city noise. Room was clean and well-maintained.
The location was only OK...going anywhere required a long walk, but taxis were plentiful in the area....and cheap. I think the most I spent on a taxi was 20 rmb, to go to Hunan street.
Breakfast buffet was acceptable, with a few western style selections.
I chose the hotel primarily for the room size and amenities. Even standard rooms are much larger than the standard chinese hotel room.
For a business traveler, or casual weekend visitor, I would recommend this hotel when visiting Nanjing.
