Grand Metropark Hotel Nanjing

A good 5 star hotel in Nanjing. Access from airport and business is good, city center is a 'little' busier.

The facilities are first-class and well-maintained despite showing evidence of age. The lobby is huge and impressive, but had a weird smell of fried fish or chicken when I was there.

Check-in was swift and straight-forward. The front desk staff gave me what I asked for. The room was excellent with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel. The size was a good one, making me feel very comfortable and in fact may seem big for somebody who is used to the small rooms in Hong Kong and major Asian cities. The Internet connection is swift and cheap.

I recommend this hotel to any traveler. And the best thing is, it's not THAT expensive.

I thought the facilities were just okay, I guess the advantage is that this hotel is near the railway station and bus depot...

I can't say that I liked this place, it feels terribly old. A terrible breakfast put the nail in the coffin as far as my stay was concerned.

Location is really good, oodles of shopping and eateries in the vicinity and close to transporation hubs.

The environment is good and the bed is large. Quiet. And nice service.

The hotel is close to the railway station, within the taxi fare distance. There is no disturbing call at night, which is very good.

The transport is quite good, within the start price to reach the railway station. And the best thing is no disturbing calls at all.

I have lived there twice. The room is quite tidy. And the price of 300 is quite ok for me.
