Huangshan Xiangming Hotel

When I go to China, I don''t get to stay in nice places except when I travel on weekends on my own dime. I didn''t expect much from this place even though it was claimed to be a 5 star hotel. Certainly not 5 star by standards used by the rich and famous, but this was a very nice hotel with some amenities like good selection a bit buffet breakfast, a small restaurant, and a bar (KTV, really). Didn''t try the latter two, but looked good from the outside. Big, nicely appointed rooms and working Internet. Didn''t get much of a chance to see the grounds during the day.

This is by far the best hotel in town. I am expat and live in the region and have stayed here on two occasions and have found the staff to be amazing and right on par with the hotel itself. It is located a taxi ride from Old Street, but walking distance from the Hui Cultural Center. Most of the Tunxi flights arrive at night, so if you need to overnight, this is the place to do it. The breakfast buffet is extensive and has a good selection of western food. The room even had HBO. If you are coming to see Huangshan, be warned this hotel is in Tunxi urban area and not by the mountain itself. Cheers.

此次是自驾游出行，酒店位置很方便，距离高速路出口很近，距离屯溪老街也很近，酒店工作人员服务很到位，也很热情，唯一不足的地方，就是早餐不太丰富，觉得适合小孩子吃的东西少。

这次是带着父母和孩子入住，感觉酒店服务还是比较到位的，特别是第二天晚上在中餐厅用晚餐急着去看徽韵将小朋友的折扇落在餐厅了，服务员非常快速的致电给通知我们有东西遗漏并告知会放在礼宾部让我们安心看完表演去拿就可以了，觉得还是值得表扬。

在此地域内应该算的上比较令人满意的酒店了，服务人员的水平虽比不上国际连锁的五星酒店但也能令人觉得舒服温暖。

总体感觉尚可的一家酒店，早餐品种还算齐全，口味也还不错，但是离五星的水准还有一点差距的。

酒店环境不错，比较幽静，但是如果自己没有车的话出入就不太方便了，周边好像没有看到有公共交通设施，连出租车也甚少见到。

黄山是旅游胜地，但一般的旅行社不会安排高档酒店，所以黄山一直没有豪华的商务酒店，香茗酒店几乎是黄山市最好的酒店。
