The Wugong Hotel (Wugong dajiudian) is located right in the center of Shanghai and at the cultural street of Fuzhou Road. The hotel is near to the city's best sights, including the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and the People's Square. It is about 15km from the Hongqiao Airport and 4km from the railway station.

With a history of 70 years, the hotel is suprisingly equipped with fairly advanced facilities. There are 160 rooms, including standard rooms and business or deluxe suites. Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, IDD telephones and refrigerators. Facsimile machines and internet-connected computers are available in the business suites.

For business, various conference rooms, an exhibition hall, an immense banquet hall & a multifunctional dancing ball are available and the hotel's business center will provide you with full secretarial services, internet access, fax, typing, photocopying, post and express mail service. For recreation, there is a gymnasium, a small shop, a billiards room, a night club, a beauty salon, a sauna and a coffee bar. Ticket reservation is also available.

The hotel has both a Chinese and a western restaurant. The Chinese is the better of the two, serving seafood, Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine.
