The Sun Island Resort Club (Taiyangdao Guoji Julebu) is a resort located on Sun Island, a small island 55 kilometers away from Shanghai, and 42 kilometers from Hongqiao Airport. This island basks in the scenic waters of the Mao River, between Dianshan Lake and the Huangpu River.

There are five different country-house style chalets, 453 units ranging from standard rooms to family sized two story detached chalets. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite televisions, international direct dial telephones and refrigerators. Kitchens are also available in two story detached chalets.

The hotel and island have a number of recreational facilities that are highly popular with the Chinese, especially in season. There is a mini golf course, a bowling alley, a tennis court, horse riding, a sauna and a spa. Sunworld is also nearby, which features a wavepool, beach volley ball and various other watersports.

The Resort has two major restaurants, the Sun Tatler Western Restaurant and the Oriental Restaurant.
