The Pine City Hotel (Qingsongcheng Dajiudian), a three star venture, is located in the southwest of Shanghai, near the Xujiahui commercial and shopping center. It takes 20 minutes to get to the Hongqiao International Airport, which is 13km away, and 1 hour to the Pudong International Airport by bus. From Xujiahui, which is 1km from the hotel, the city's metro system will take you to most important places in Shanghai.

There are a total of 162 rooms in the Pine City Hotel ranging from the ordinary standard rooms to deluxe suites. All of the rooms have IDD telephones, satellite TV,central air-conditioning,and a private bath.

The business facilities here are probably the hotel's biggest pulling point, with a fully equipped business center and conference rooms, as well as office rooms that are for rent.

For recreational the Pine City has a multitude of restaurants and other facilities. The Peony and Gengyun Restaurants serve a good selection of Cantonese and traditional Chinese dishes while the Violet Restaurant provides good Western food.
