The Metropole Hotel (Xincheng Fandian) is located in the city center, only a five minute walk from the Bund, 18 kilometers from Hongqiao Airport and 5 kilometers from the railway station. Guests can catch the bus to Pudong International Airport from the hotel's front steps.

This is a fairly unique spot and the hotel retains a little of its original Art Deco splendor. The 145 rooms on offer are all tastefully decorated and come with standard amenities and facilities for comfort and convenience. Some rooms offer views of the Pudong Oriental TV tower.

There are eight different restaurants here serving fine Chinese cuisine. The Metropole Hotel bar is a great place to socialize while enjoying expertly-mixed cocktails.
