Island Shangri-La

Unlucky... I've read quite a few good reviews about this hotel, but I wasn't fortunate enough to enjoy the same kind of experience. I did not find the staff warm at all, I didn't get many smiles pointed in my direction, housekeeping was extremely slow and the location of this hotel is not as good as the Conrad's.

The Cafe Too buffet is very nice but it gets so crowded and noisy that it feels like a bus-stop cafeteria or something, plus, the waiters just get swamped and then you end up waiting 20 minutes for your herbal tea.

Considering the wealth of five star options in Hong Kong, I can't help but think that this place is a little underwhelming and maybe overpriced.

Great quality and even better service. I think that, compared to the Peninsula, the Shangri-La is better in pretty much every category. Every luxury here is truly upscale, the rooms are bigger and nicer, the staff excellent and the food amazing. You just have to go to the café TOO and have the buffet there, it-s unreal!

Also, and this isn't very obvious unfortunately, the pool, which features stellar views of the city, especially at night, has got wait staff ready to serve you drinks and the likes, but you won't know that unless you ask, they don't offer for some reason, maybe its that typical Asian shyness or something, but if you're there, ask and ye shall receive. Nothing beats a margarita poolside!

Very handy, a store is just downstairs though its a bit expensive. They can deliver things to the room. consistent service that you can expect in any Shangri-La branch.

交通十分便利，四周环境极好，方便购物~服务周到，房间非常舒适。值得推荐，下次还会再来这边住。

酒店的位置是不错的，门口马路对面就是香港公园，穿过公园就可以到达太平山缆车站，浏览香港和购物都很方便，当然，价格也是不便宜的了。

设施和各项服务都不错。我们让服务员提拿行李的时候，忘了给小费。想问一下，在香港酒店服务员提拿行李，一般要给多少小费？

我觉得酒店的服务很好，房间很大也很干净，早餐很丰盛，我们订的是海景房，一开始的海景不好，后来酒店给我们换了，在商场买的东西送到酒店后，服务人员帮我们整齐的送到了房间

已经不是第一次入住这家酒店了,感觉还是一如既往的好.地理位置,环境服务都不错.免费的自助早餐也很丰富,下次一定还会帮衬.

在出差的时候住的舒适是相当重要的，为我本次疲惫的商务之行增加了很多能量，下次还会订的。
