Empire Hotel Hong Kong－Wan Chai

I spent 2 nights and it was a very nice journey. People were kind and speak a good english, the room very clean and big!

Good location near Wanchai metro station, but they are understaffed, the food is so-so, and you have to pay for internet. On three separate occasions I tried to call the front desk and had to wait 5 minutes before somebody picked the phone up. Also, we were told we were getting a non-smoking room, but the room reeked of cigarettes when we walked in. Other than that, the facilities were good.

My wife and 7 year old son stayed here for five nights last fall and on the whole I would recommend to anyone with business in the area or interested in a decently priced tourist hotel. I had business at the nearby Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and found it very convenient to walk to, while my family enjoyed exploring by foot and by via the nearby metro. Taxis no problem.

The hotel itself--small-sized but comfortable room and average service. The room was a bit musty at first but with AC on became quite comfortable. Bed a bit on the hard side but mattress was new and clean. One complaint--the first day we went for breakfast and had a devil of a time getting complimentary breakfast for three; a rather rude staff member was adamant that we had only one ticket. However, after a few unpleasant minutes, we spoke to a manager who kindly took care of the problem and showed us directly to a good table.

It seems a hotel where you have to be a bit pushy to get above-average service, but for the location and price it is a good one. Be assertive with the staff and don't accept their first answer--insist on what you want!

The room is not very big but is quite clean. and the service is good. The most important thing is it is very conveniently located, with a lot of shops around it and you can order food until midnight.

The service is quite good, and so is the transportation. They provide free luggage deposit. I will book it for next time.

正如网友提到的 靠近酒吧街，尽管要求安排远离酒吧街的房间，但晚上还是会听到HIGH的音乐声，住12楼都清晰可听。房间内桌面上一层灰，房间是小，床都小。唯一就是距离湾仔地铁5分钟，附件好多茶餐厅 很方便

此次出差去的，离办事的地点很近，出行也方便，房间不算小，周边也不算吵闹，去繁华的地方也算不远，坐地铁直接可以到中环办预登机手续和托运行李

我替朋友定的酒店，说交通很方便，酒店环境还可以，服务蛮好的，设备还行总体都不错，下回还会选择这个酒店的

原来常住的酒店没房间，临时选了这家。总体感觉不错。从携程拿到的价格很好，感觉性价比很高。介于金钟和湾仔之间，吃、玩都很方便。
