My only negatives are :
1. Yes, as other posters have stated, the bathroom design is a little wonky. The bathroom pretty much floods when you shower, so using it afterward can be a bit tricky.
2. Faces the highway. I was on the 12th floor, and didn't really hear the traffic unless my windows were open, but it could be an issue on lower floors, I suppose.
But this is a good review! The bed was SO comfortable. The pillows were lovely. The shower, though leaky, was a "rainfall" style, had great water pressure, and got very hot. The room also had complimentary bottled water and apples. Breakfast was better than I expected. Mostly Chinese style, but there was an assortment of fruit and breads, as well as coffee and black tea. While they had cereal, the only milk was both hot and sweetened, so I didn't partake. Rooms are on the small side, but I didn't feel cramped. Some of the staff have limited English skills, and they were very helpful.
Most importantly, West Lake is only a short walk away. |
