Staff, rooms, food and hotel in general was excellent. Will stay again

This is a nice hotel. Clean, close to West Lake, short distance to restaurants, and the staff are great. The breakfast in the revolving restaurant is excellent...good choice of freshly prepared food. I will stay here again next time I visit Hangzhou

the hotel is slightly old but well maintained, great location 2 streets away from Xihu and the new eatries . it is value for money and i would recommend to friends who want to go HZ in the future

I was very impressed with this hotel. It's very near to West Lake and in the middle of the city, and on the better side of the railway line (ie. the West side). The room was tidy and had everything I expected (disposable razor in the loo, fruits and welcome cake, coffee etc.) and a good view. The staff were great - there was a western English speaker who offered me a complementary drink in the bar while we waited for a taxi at one point (they were changing shifts - Hangzhou is a nightmare to get around in the day, if the taxis aren't changing shifts then its the awful traffic), and when I had to leave early they didn't charge me for my full booking like I thought they would. First time I've given a top rating on Ctrip but this place deserved it!

The service staff was nice, they helped us out when we needed. They have an extra foreigner on staff to help out with the English speakers. Most of the front deks don't speak English but typically one or two English speaking staff are nearby to help out. The buffet for 118 is not bad, the bakery goods are so-so as they are mostly based off Chinese dough (the texture is strange), juice, coffee, sushi was sub-par, but there was an egg and noodle station to make up for it. The single room with a king bed is somewhat small for two persons but for a short trip not bad.

First as I noted the location is good as well as very clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. There were English speakers and a tourist information desk which was helpful. I personally had a small mishap and lost my cellphone. After checking out I went back to the hotel to look for it to no avail. However, I want to note that the staff was extremely helpful and empathetic. Yoga, the supervisor helped us find a quiet spot in the lobby to connect to the internet so we could call on SKYPE to cancel our service. She served us coffee and cake on the house which gave us a good feeling.

Stayed in this hotel on first trip to Hangzhou with my family. The hotel service is excellent, the lady concierge recommended just the right sights for our weekend stay. She was warm, friendly and spoke English. Location is very good, price is reasonable and is just down the road from West Lake. The restaurant buffet has wide variety of international cuisine and breathtaking views, morning and night.

Compared with other 4-star hotels, this hotel is excellent. As its highlight, the revolving restaurant is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, enabling me to enjoy the whole beauty of West Lake. I stay at this hotel whenever I go to Hangzhou.

I always had meal at the restaurant of this hotel when I went to Hangzhou. Dishes were nice. This time my stay at this hotel made feel good. Having meal at its revolving restaurant, I can freely enjoy the view of West Lake.
This hotel has a quite convenient location and I can easily take the airport shuttle bus.

An awesome hotel i've ever stayed. A little proble when check in, but they automatically up-graded me to lake-view. Very considerate and sincere. Breakfast on the 20F revolving restaurant was great, where you can enjoy the west lake while having your food. Would be better if with more western options.
