Starway Hotel Jinwan Guilin

Nice hotel but rooms are a little tight. Staff don't speak English hence, very reluctant to help you and pretty much ignore you and end up being very rude to you. Close to train and bus station but not close to sites but good for the price.

One receptionist was polite but the rest were rude, didn't want to help even when I had a Chinese guy to translate for me as my lock was stolen. The bathroom didn't have a proper shower head and smells of damp. Noisy not from outside but people in the hotel shouting to each other across floors and rooms. The only good thing is that it is close to the train and bus station.

Nice and big hotel near the train station. room clean with all the facilities.

Arrived Guilin in wet weather but managed to find this hotel easily. Comfortable but in a unkempt part of town. Wouldn't stay again.

Location; Sits at the edge of town and a long walk from the interesting areas in Guilin.

Facilities: Not much to talk off, glass frontage belies the dirty surroundings that it's set in. Inside is clean though.

Rooms: Basic, livable, clean and comfortable.

Staff: Basic, unfriendly, less helpful than most for this class of hotel.

The Jinwan hotel is located near to the bus station, just a minute or two's walk and is in a nice area.

The room was clean and comfortable, with hard beds but not too bad. The bathroom was modern but the shower did leak which was a pity and it took quite a while for the hot water to come through. For a conservation type person it was hard to watch all of the precious water disappearing down the drain but I guess that was a small price to pay.

I have to say that as a foriegner I thought the breakfast was awful. I am happy to have a chinese breakfast but to be honest there was nothing apart from a boiled egg that I could stomach, even the congee was awful.

All in all though a good place to stay. I just went out and found nice street food for my breakfast.

酒店临近火车站、航空客运大巴站点很近，出行很方便。卫生、服务都可以，价格也不贵，下次还选它。

酒店设备老旧，服务一般，早餐一般，房间大小尚可，接待团队较多，用餐要早去。

毫不客气的说，我是冲着携程品牌去的，不过酒店让我失望了，比同档次的锦江之星差了不少。
