this hotel is perfect and offered us excellent service.

the room is clean, 5 min. walk from the metro, less shops around, the staff was a little unfriendly, the english knowlege was not really good

I just went there for one night. The service was quite good, the room was clean, located to the inner side of the hotel with a view to the pool and the park. The bed was hard, chinese style, very comfortable for my back. The breakfast is chinese style with a wide range of choose. you can sit outside in the park to have the breakfast, quite nice

Fantastic swimming pool and garden, rooms good size and not expensive, except for breakfast that is not very exciting.

Very nice hotel, pleasant environment, satistactory service. However, the breakfast buffet was not a smart choice. I recommend calling room service or eat outside the hotel with CNY 100.

In general, Dongfang counted as one of the decent hotels in Guangzhou. Presenting unique traditional ancient Chinese architechture style that blends with modern accomodation, it made itself different.

On the first day of check-in, they upgraded our customer to Executive room, very much appreciated. After check-in, we got a free Guangdong dim sum as welcoming gift. Very considerate. Only check-out service was a little slow. But not a big deal.
