The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel

A lovely hotel and rooms were great -but everything is HK prices. Drinks were RMB 35. Very little around the hotel, although one little lady selling cold drinks across the car park. No ATM or other services - but only 10RMB to town. Taxis wait outside hotel and an be negotiated with for all day hire. ( RMB 150 to Magao caves and then to Migsha sand dunes)
Ctrip arranged free pick up from train station - and we stayed with this taxi driver the whole trip. ( Hotel wanted RMB 800 for railway pick up for a 25 minute drive) and RMB 400 for what we paid the taxi driver RMB 150. Probably the best hotel in town - friendly service in english and chinese. Just be aware that there are lots of other options for all the add ons which they try to 'trap you' into at ALOT cheaper rates. We would go back !

The hotel is close to Riyue Spring and the downtown area.

The hotel staff are superb friendly and the room decoration is also special.

沙漠里高耸的建筑，第一印象就是龙门客栈，进了房间也发现旧的可以，但是第二天的早餐让我顿时对酒店的印象大好，摘星阁，就冲你，我会再去一次，看看晚上是否真的可以摘星！
BTW 酒店的免费接送服务太贴心了！

订了沙景房，在携程上备注要婴儿床与浴缸，一入住时就准备好了，比许多大城市的五星饭店服务还到位。看到有小朋友，还马上送上小礼物。又送了两张摘星阁的咖啡券，顺带一提，咖啡真的好！根本没想到会有这么好的服务与餐饮，到敦煌去玩，一定要著这家饭店！

因为住的是旁边的副楼，所以价格比较便宜，但服务方面依然是四星级的，宾馆还可以接送，去魔鬼城的车是酒店安排的，服务很好，司机小孙人也很也好，希望酒店看到给他加点薪，嘿嘿

外观像龙门客栈，近月牙泉，但交通不便，客房可比招待所（仅指附楼）

酒店的环境和服务都很不错，酒店餐厅的菜品和口味也还不错。就是早餐和酒店的星级不符，品种太过贫乏了。另外，此次入住，让人不明白的是，我们要加床，前台告诉我们是240一晚，而酒店房间的酒店加床信息是160一晚，一开始前台说就是240，后来我们把酒店房间的加床信息卡拿去给她们看，才同意按160一晚算。不知道为什么会这样。感到有被忽悠的感觉，有点小小遗憾。不过，总体感觉还是蛮好的！

还有免费的接站服务，早餐地点的摘星阁能直接看鸣沙山全貌

地方很好，很有特色，去月牙泉和鸣沙山都很方便。月亮上来的时候在酒店外散步，风轻轻吹来，黄黄的沙，蓝蓝的天，圆圆的月亮，多么美好的晚上！
