Not bad hotel on the whole. A modern high rise hotel, centrally located in the Jiefangbei area, close to most of the city's major shopping and perdestrian mall, good for touring.
Stay 3 nights during my first visit to Chongqing. Regular comfortable room, wood closet, wood shelving, clean bathroom, typical chinese bed (very firm), flat screen TV on the wall plus spectacular views over the city from our 25F room at an acceptable price compared with downtown 5-stars in other major cities.
Service was good too, trying their best to help. Though we experienced inconveniences calling a taxi in this city center area, the bellstaff called one for use. Really thoughtful!
Well, the room we were in must be just being renovated as you can feel the thickness and good cushion from the carpet. Large dining room with a good selection for breakfast and dinner.
The only problem was the hotel extrior undergone refarbishing and experienced some noise during daytime.
To sum up, it's modern and well run. May stay next time :) Cheers!
