Shudu Mansion Hotel

The room was fine, only the bed very hard. The Bathroom looked somewhat old and not so clean. Check in staff was not very correct in handling customers. Breakfast was again a bit limited for a foreigner, but there was egg, meat and toast so it was do-able. (but plenty other places nearby to eat!)
May return again for cheap price and location.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay in the Shudu Mansion Hotel. Especially the room with a computer was nice, as I didn't bring my laptop, but wanted to check the weather and tourist attractions occasionally. Breakfast on the top floor is nice for the view, but the breakfast itself is not spectacular. Location is nice, walking distance to Chunxi Road.

Stayed here in december 2009 for a few days. Hotel has a very nice location, near Chunxi Road. Just across the street.
So thats the positive news....

Breakfast chinese or american: Do not do! Just eat somewhere else!
Rooms, old, carpets may have been renewed, rooms may have been refurbished, but the question is what did they do it with...
Hotel staff spoke a little bit of english, but it seems they do not know a lot...

We booked Shudu Mansion for a one night stay. The room is newly refurbished and all facilities are new. The window is very beautiful. We had our breakfast at the Revolving Restaurant, a pity that there are not many choices with breakfast, yet the Mixian is nice to eat. Also the location is very good, very close to Chunxi Road. Nice!

I lived in Shudu from 13rd to 18th this September. Thank God, the hotel turned out to be much better than I imagined. The room is quite large and clean. And we had a nice sleep the first night. Thank God! The breakfast is wonderful, we had a lot of choices and everything turned out to be good enough. Highly recommend!

The hotel has very nice rooms and very good location. It is my first choice in Chengdu.

You can walk to Chunxi Road and Tianfu Square from the hotel, which is very convenient. The service is excellent and the room is large and clean. Very satisfied.

This place would be a good choice for all of you mall rats out there, Chunxi Road is one of Chengdu's main shopping streets and it's practically around the corner from the hotel!

Nothing stellar about this hotel, but the service people are competent.
