Starway Jindi Hotel Chengdu

I wasn't impressed. First, they tried to upgrade me to a much more expensive room and were a bit disapproving when I declined. The room I got was fine, if small. The view was of a trash littered rooftop that made me want to keep the blinds closed. The carpet was worn. There was no hot water the next morning. No gas, they said. I personally like to bathe when staying at a hotel. How this hotel is recommended by CTRIP makes no sense to me.

This hotel is ok and in-room internet worked, but bathroom was too small. A good room for the price given (160 rmb) from internet for a basic single room including breakfast.

It's an old hotel. Rooms are very small. It's a solid three star quality-wise. It's clean. The internet speed is OK but there are frequent failures. The hotel service is considerate.

It's difficult to find a taxi during peak hours.

1. The surroundings are satisfying, good location, nice room (my colleague and I stayed in a standard room on the 4th floor). Ctrip price was also good.

2. Reception staff are just so-so, they don't take much initiative. Bellhops were nice and considerate.

3. Breakfast was OK, but little meat was available.

4. The annoying thing was that it seemed there were mosquitoes or some other insects in the room because I found a host of insect bites on my leg the next morning. This might raise a sanitary red flag

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights after we came back from Jiuzhaigou. Overall, the hotel and the surrounding environment are good. Though the room is small, it is very warm.

I like the location, very handy to Chunxi Road, the most bustling pedestrian street in Chengdu.

Breakfast was acceptable. The reception service needs improvemnet. It seems that they are not very professional. I know they are busy but they should greet guests. I think this is a very basic requirement.

Hotel bellboys are nice and responsible, eager to help guests.

The hotel is newly renovated. We just came back from Chengdu and we are very satisfied with this hotel. Breakfast also good. The location is perfect, a quiet place in the bustling city.

The hotel location is good, around a 25-min walk/ 5-min drive from Tianfu Square and the pedestrian street. Rooms and service are both satisfying, real 3-star. Breakfast too simple though. Carpets and wallpaper starting to show their age.

第一次入住这个酒店，感觉还不错，房间很干净，服务态度也很好。地理位置还可以，交通也还算方便。早餐不错，很有星级酒店的样子。

房间较小，不过还比较干净，周边交通比较方便，值得提的是早餐来不及吃可预先准备好给带走
