Qianyang Hotel

My family and I went to Chengde in Oct11 and booked a Business Suite at Qianyang hotel. Price is reasonable. Room is very big, clean and with 2 toilets. However the downside is the bathroom even though it is clean. After shower whole bathroom floor is wet due to no water retention block in the shower screen cubical. Bath tub is leaking. Bathroom ceiling is not in good condition and it is supported by a few nails to prevent dropping.

Overall room atmosphere is good and clean and look new. Walldrobe is very small and made from cheap material and the door can hardly move. Misalignment at the room door and need force to close.

Awful breakfast. We call tell it is mass production low quality food. Like for mass factory workers.

Location near the city center and tourist spots, but heater in our room wasn't working, and cleaning lady just barged in in the morning while we were sleeping. But for the price, I guess you cannot ask for star-hotel quality.

We stayed in new building 7, recently built, quality of room very nice. The disappointment is that we booked a "business suite" on Ctrip, but when we arrived, the hotel said that no more business suites were available and placed us in a standard room. Normally, a hotel would offer some sort of recompense for this - a voucher to use for a future free night stay, etc. In this case, the front desk simply told us the hotel was very busy and "so sorry, but no more rooms available of the type you booked."

Location, Service and Cleanliness are nice, but Facilities is just ok.

Bed-room of my suite is suuuuuuper big. 2 bathrooms is surprising. Breakfasts are tasty. Looking from the windows there is a very beautiful lake, and night scene is also very stunning.
This hotel receives most tourist groups.
If you drive, you have to pay RMB10 surcharge.

Among all the 4-star hotels I've seen on internet, this one is definitely cheaper. To my surprise the lobby hall is fantastic.
Opposite the hotel are the walls of Bishushanzhuang.
Rooms are tidy and clean.

酒店的大堂还可以，但房间条件不是很理想，位置极佳，去避署山庄只需几分钟车程，出入市也较方便。酒店的餐厅条件及口味都不错。

酒店环境还可以，卫生一般，卫生间偏小，服务一般！

酒店的位置距离避暑山庄很近，地理位置好，但是硬件条件很一般，有待提高。酒店的早餐比较差，没有当地的任何特色，而且卫生不行。价格还比较适中，会向朋友推荐！

只晚上住了一下，一早出门了，淡季去的，还好。
