Crowne Plaza City Centre Changsha

Location of the Crowne Plaza Changsha hotel is great if not for the construction work that is taking place around the vicinity right now. The hotel is near 商业步行街, near to 橘子洲where fireworks are displayed every saturday night and near enough to train station (where most local tour groups departed from)

The hotel room is of a good size and beds are comfortable. Hotel breakfast is of high standard and we certainly enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza Changsha over the weekend and will definitely come back again if we are to visit Changsha again.

The hotel pays sufficient attention to service guests can supply the hotel with feedback every day as a service evaluation sheet is delivered to the room daily. I like the buffet breakfast on the 8th floor. there's a rich variety of options. but overall there are many aspects where this hotel can improve:

1. internet access is too expensive, 25RMB/h and 50/d, very incovenient for business travellers.

2. king room charges 458 only on Friday nights and for other nights it charges 608. I checked in on Friday and later extended my stay to 3 nights, but nobody told me that the room price would go up after the first night. When I checked out, I found it's 300RMB more than I expected and then was told the room cost CNY 608 for the last 2 nights. I got angry and asked to talk to their manager. Finally they agreed to return the overcharged money.

3. Room service is too expensive, I ordered a cheese platter, it was overpriced and only tasted so-so.

I noticed that there were a few bad reviews of this hotel but I still booked it because over the years I've come to trust the Crown name. Luckily, it was much better than what I had expected. The lobby is not very large but when I reached the guestroom area, I felt very good.

Service staff are professional and efficient. Check-out only took me 3 min. Housekeeping staff are polite and have very good attitude. Internet access costs 50 RMB per day, a little expensive. the hotel is new and room is spacious. Facilities are great. I like the housecoat and the big bed, both are very comfortable.

Breakfast in not as rich as in most other crowne branches but it's absolutely a great choice for Changsha. The hotel was newly opened, so there were not too many guests, you could enjoy the dishes and service in a quiet ambiance. I'll certainly choose it again. The hotel is right in the downtown area, and easy to find.

It's easy to drive inside the hotel but most taxi drivers refused to do so. That's annoying. For the hotel itself, it's great.

酒店本身硬件还是不错的，但是由于周边地铁施工，所以进出非常不方便。前台的服务质量还有待提高，入住前预定的是双床间，因为是两个人入住的，而且在前台还强调过，但是实际入住到了房间一看居然给的是大床房，然后不得不回到前台，重新换房。换房后，发现房间的冰箱不制冷，而且房间的水吧什么东西都没有，连最基本的咖啡、茶都没有，于是又打电话给客房要求检查冰箱和开水吧，结果冰箱到第三天才来看，水吧到走的时候也没补。早上叫车，由于我们去的地方不够远，叫车的服务生居然让后面的客人先坐车，而且那个人还不是酒店客人。我们提出质疑，对方居然说他去的地方远。哎！也不知道同样是假日酒店，为什么长沙的服务水平会这样。

第一次来长沙，选择了这家酒店，怎么说呢，酒店本身是很好的，但由于长沙地铁施工的原因，客观造成住客的体验不是很好。应该说酒店的位置是很好的，就在平和堂的对面，算是长沙市中心了，硬件这些也很好，但地铁施工将附近挖的很厉害，变得不太方便，但相信地铁施工结束了之后应该会很好。酒店大堂在二楼，装修一般，前台态度不错，查询证件后告知行政楼层可以直接到25楼办理，整个过程面带笑容，让人很舒服。上到行政酒廊很快就办理了入住，房间的硬件是符合假日的标准的，视野也很好，但有几个问题：1、工作人员说房间里有欢迎水果，其实是没有的；2、房间安排上有问题，因为长沙这个城市很奇怪，地铁施工在晚上十二点以后仍然没有结束，一直持续到凌晨，因此，朝向广场的房间晚上的噪音非常大，酒店应该在与市政部门协调后了解具体情况，尽量将客人安排在背向的房间，所以，我当晚完全没有办法休息，这一点，有很大的意见；3、关于洲际酒店集团的积分有点混乱，我在携程上订房，既无法积累优悦会的积分，也不能积累航空公司的里程，觉得很无奈，酒店的解释不是很满意。因这次我只在该酒店停留一晚，了解的不是很彻底，不过，酒店的早餐很丰富，中西都有，二楼是长沙著名的小吃火宫殿，酒店员工的态度很好，在走廊里碰到都会礼貌的问好，我提前在礼宾部预约了第二天去机场的车，由于早到，礼宾部人员主动让我在大堂休息，车到了再来叫我，司机的态度也很礼貌，总之，这一次短暂的感受还是不错的，希望下次入住能有更好更详细的体验。

最近修地铁，出行不是很方便，应该很快就修好，不过酒店房间里面有点潮湿的味道，和其他的皇冠假日相比需要改进。房间潮味，给人感觉可能就不卫生。

带一群老外入住，服务再长沙不错，但是和北京，上海大城市比还有差距，特别是英语水平。

房间很舒适，绝对的星级酒店。地理位置很方便，吃饭很方便，出了门就能购物，还挺好找的！！！！

环境好，特别适合商务出差。房间大，点餐很不错。早餐好吃。就是大堂在2楼比较不方便。还有就是打车特别难，还有拒载的。
