Sunworld Dynasty Hotel

The hotel is a 5 star but it does not look like. We didnt have good experience this time. The room was too hot, very small and old fashion. Service is very slow. Breakfest is not so good too. We ask the concierge to help with the luggage and we had to wait a lot and in the end we had to take the luggage by ourself to check out. Next time i will not saty in this hotel anymore.

Pretty good location in the center of Beijing very close to Tian An Men Square and pedestrian street. Good clean room and good service too. Recommended.

perfect location, less than 5 minutes taxi ride to the Forbidden City, great for the price, good food, I would stay here again.

I have stayed at Western 5 star hotels in Beijing before and paid the huge tariffs they charge. Staying at Sunworld is comparable to the Western 5 star hotels without the huge price even when staying on the executive floor, which I must say is fabulous in all regards. The beds are very comfortable, rooms spacious and clean with nice modern amenities, breakfast is extensive and excellent quality, check-in/out and concierge service is precisely what it should be, tour desk also very good. Location is right in the centre with the interesting food street nearby plus pedestrian mall and close enough to walk to Forbidden City and Tianamen Square. The level of English in the hotel is very high which also helps a lot. Definitely my first choice in Beijing and where I book my guests.

Very well located hotel, 2 mins walk to the main shopping street. Requested for a room facing the forbidden city. Was warned by staff that that it faces the main road and will be noisy. Took the room anyway. Indeed was way too noisy not due to traffic but due to traffic traveling over metal plates covering the repairing road which sound like pilling. Not worth requesting rooms facing forbidden city as only able to see the roofs of forbidden city. Changed room the next day with no problem. Good working staffs. Clean room, spacious bathroom.

This hotel has a very convenient location and is close to Wangfujing street and the Forbidden City.

Suitable for the old and children.

However, room a little small, so is the bed in the twin room.

Room quite clean and good LCD TV.

The receptionist and housekeeping staff were all very helpful with good attitudes and were highly efficient.

The bathroom vent-pipe made lots of noises even when I shut the bathroom door. This was very annoying during the night, so I requested a room change. They were very nice and patient and changed my room immediately, which left a very good impression on me.

As for the price, it's really reasonable for the Wangfujing area.
